About Me
An Entrepreneur at Age 8
I’ve been solving business problems since I was a child. Raised in an entrepreneurial family, I started a candy store business out of my garage at the tender age of 8. My first lesson in marketing and sales came on first day in business when I realized that customers won’t flock to you simply because your doors are open. After a day without a single sale, I jumped on my bicycle and sold my entire inventory door-to-door in just two hours.

A successful, 11-year sales professional, I’ve managed several challenging

sales territories for demanding sales organizations. Selling in these results-oriented environments forced me to develop and sharpen my writing skills early in his career. I quickly learned that when you have to find your own sales opportunities, knowing how to sell through the written word is just as important as selling in person or over the phone.
A Solid Track Record in Sales
Prior to launching his copywriting and consulting business, I was a senior account executive with Constructware, an on-demand construction software company that facilitates communication and collaboration among parties in a construction project. During my five-year tenure at Constructware, I conceived and implemented a marketing and sales methodology that helped revive a software product and boost its sales by more than 500 percent.

Prior to Constructware, I was an account executive with CompuCom Systems, a leading integrator and IT managed services provider. While at CompuCom, I had responsibility for launching and growing the company’s professional IT services business in the Atlanta area.

I came to CompuCom from Ferguson Enterprises Inc., where I held various positions in sales and management and helped launch two of the most profitable Ferguson branches in the southeastern region.

Education & Clients
I have BA in finance from the University of South Florida and am a graduate of the American Writers & Artists Institute’s (AWAI) copywriting programs. I’ve been personally coached and trained by some of the best copywriters in the country, and I sit on the board of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Marketing Society.

Current and past clients include Autodesk, Ross Systems, Aldata Solutions, Demand Management, Servigistics, ToolWatch, Invistics, TechDiscovery and Interactive Softworks.

I’m a hopeless wine geek and horrible golfer, and I live in suburban Atlanta, Ga. with my wife and two sons.
